Statement of Faith

1. Gods Holy Scriptures.

We believe that the Bible is God's inspired Word, and without error in its original manuscripts. (II Tim. 3:16-17).

2. The Trinity of the Godhead.

We believe in one Eternal God, and the Trinity of the Godhead. (I John 5:7). The Father is God (John 6:27; Eph. 4:6). Jesus Christ is God (Heb.1:8). The Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5:3-4).

3. The Creation and Fall of Mankind.

We believe that man was created in the image, and likeness of God. However because of our disobedience, sin entered into the world. Whereby all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. (Gen. 1:26; Rom. 5:12; 3:23).

4. The Plan of Redemption.

We believe that there is only one plan to redeem fallen mankind, and that is the shed blood, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. All men must repent therefore and return to God, that their sins may be forgiven and cleansed. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. (John 3:16; II Cor. 5:21;Acts 4:12; Luke19:10; John 3:17; I Cor.1:21; Eph. 2:1-9).

5. The New Birth in Christ.

We believe that the New Birth in Christ is a miracle, wherein the old nature is passing away, and the new nature comes in with its transforming power. (John 3:3; II Cor. 5:17; I Pet. 1:22-23).

6. Water Baptism.

We believe water baptism to be an outward expression; to identify the believer with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Rom.6:3-4; Matt.3:16-17; Mark 1:10-11). Every believer should be water baptized, because this is pleasing to God.

7. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit.

We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is to give us power to live a fruitful Holy Christian life today, that we may be effective ministers of the gospel. (Gal. 5:22,23; Isa.61:1; Luke 3:16; Acts 1:5-8;2:14-21; 9:17-20).

8. The Spirit Filled Life.

We believe that it's Gods will for all believers to walk by the Spirit and live by the Spirit. (Gal. 5:16,25).

9. Spiritual Gifts.

We believe spiritual gifts have been given to every believer, and everyone should function in their gifts for the building up of the body. (I Cor. 12:4-11,27-30; Eph. 4:11-12; Rom. 12:3-11).

10. Evangelism.

We believe that Evangelism is a vital part of the Christian Church and the responsibility of every believer. God has given every believer the Holy Spirit to empower him to carry out the great commission. (Matt. 28: 18-20; Mark 16: 15-18; Acts 1: 8).

11. The Second Coming of Christ.

We believe in the literal and physical Second coming of Christ, and the rapture of the Church. (I Thes. 4:16-17).

12.Heaven, hell, and the final judgment.

We believe in the immortality of the soul; in the resurrection of the body; in the general judgment at the end of the world; in the eternal happiness of the righteous Heaven; and the endless punishment of the wicked in Hell. (Matt. 6:20; John 14:2-3;Rev.7:9-17; 20:10-15; 21:8;)
